Adding a carbon core and integral string bridges to the oak take down Tatar bow, excellent idea well worth the money . I will add a carbon core to every bow I get from now on .It stiffens the bow to resist twisting and adds some speed. I don't think it makes the bow any harder to pull , but sideways yes .
